Account Receivable Assistant

SS Audio is a leading retail store in Johor Bahru specializing in consumer electronics. With multiple retail outlets, we offer a wide range of high-quality home appliances, home entertainment systems, and kitchen appliances from renowned brands such as Bosch, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Fotile, and many more. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and delivering exceptional products to our valued customers.
As an Account Receivable Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions within our organization. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reconciling customer invoices and payments
- Monitoring accounts receivable aging and following up on overdue payments
- Resolving customer billing inquiries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve any payment discrepancies
- Processing daily incoming stocks by GRN into system
- Assisting with month-end closing activities, such as extended warranty report, and customer aging report
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date daily settlement report
Requirements:
- Female preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounts receivable or related role
- Proficiency in either UBS accounting, Autocount accounting, SQL accounting and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of consumer electronics and retail industry (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our consumer electronics products, ensuring maximum visibility and customer engagement.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and evaluate competition, enabling us to refine our marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling product messaging and promotional materials, including online content, social media posts, newsletters, and advertisements.
- Manage social media platforms and engage with our online community, responding to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and tools, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices to continuously enhance our marketing efforts.
- Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, trade shows, and product launches, ensuring seamless coordination and effective brand representation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the consumer electronics or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box when developing marketing campaigns.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with consumer electronics products and brands is a plus.
